Although I enjoy reading about their situations, I don't feel too bad and I also find it stunning how quickly removed a lot of people are from their humble beginnings. A lot of people start of modestly and rocket up to the glorious standard of living they enjoy, yet when it might come crashing down they find it hard to cope. Hmmm...memory does not always serve some very well, does it? Plus, I think when one becomes accustomed to luxury, and having done for you all the time, it is (or seems to be) virtually impossible to scale back and look at the "game" of frugality.
