Wet Cell Phones and Rice: Cured!

Our trip to what we call the "dreaded WM" was prompted by washing our cell phone. Mr. FS found a tip on line: stick the phone in rice, which will absorb all the moisture. It was worth a try: it worked!!!!

    Duly forwarded to M'hijito, who lost a very fine cell phone when a "friend" shoved him into a pool at a somewhat drunken party.

    I've heard if you dip the phone in alcohol, that will evaporate the water. ???
