Neat house, but looking at the floor plan made me curious. Do you really have to go through one bedroom to get from the kitchen to the dining room? I know these long narrow houses go through room to room but that seems an odd arrangement.
@Darla--I meant to add: you can use the rooms in different ways. So if Frugal Son were to have such a house, he might rent the front room to a friend and use the back room himself. That way, each would have an entrance to a bedroom, and the center would be a common space.
Love the kitchen!!!!
ReplyDeleteBlackboard paint is neat. House listed today.

Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I think we would call that a railroad house in OKC, or something like that (where the rooms join up in one line).
ReplyDelete@Darla--Yes! This is a shotgun house. Some have side halls, but the lot on this house is too narrow to accommodate that!
ReplyDelete@Tory--HI!!!!!
@Shelley--I will have to look into the OK version. I love these houses.

ReplyDeleteI looked this up

and perhaps this is a shotgun house as someone has mentioned. Railroad houses have a hallway. So I've learned something new!
